I came for a sight test a couple of months early than my actual due date due to having a spout of allergic conjunctivitis. The appointment time and date was very suitable and was arranged with Gillian, whom I have seen quite a few times of the years.. I seen first by a lady called Angela whom explained each part of the pre-checks to me so that there was a good understanding of what to expect. She passed me over to Gillian for which I was impressed by the fact she already had my notes and information to hand and up to date. She performed the eye check very thorough as well as making very personal with having a general conversation. I felt she is was very professional and put my worries at ease. She explained that I got great vision but some glasses for night time driving and/or tiredness may be beneficial and recommended what lenses too. I took my prescription as I was short on time. I shortly returned back and started going through some frames. Again, Angela was on hand to help me decide with laughter whilst giving me an honest opinion. Other members of staff were very helpful in this process too; Tahmina and Sam. They too gave their honest opinion since I was looking for something different and a little quirky. I settled on a Prada frame which fitted great and felt light. The order was processed by Tahmina who did the measurements and then had them checked by Angela taken into account how I sat when I drove. The price was absolutely great too. I look forward to picking these up and getting fitted but I am very confident, based on the service already received, that these are going to be fantastic. This staff are a pure asset to this company!

The optometrist was very thorough and friendly, she took every care to ensure that I was comfortable throughout the appointment. She was also very professional, an asset to boots. Great service would highly recommend boots opticians.

Optometrist was very helpful bringing to my attention whilst on a contact lens check up that my eye test was overdue. She arranged for me to be booked in again to have this done as I'm looking to buy glasses and she said it's very important to have an uptodate eye test. Very polite, professional and friendly staff then again I wouldn't expect anything less from Boots queensgate store! Never had a bad experience.

The staff where friendly and helpful. I didn't feel rushed at any time or pushed into any purchase that I wasn't happy with As a family we have been using boots for a number of years as we have always trusted the service and advise we have received.
